Osceola Powell Daniel born

Osceola was born in October, 1839 (His mother Ann Taylor was pregnant with him on the Trail of Tears) – just weeks after the ratification of the Cherokee constitution on Sept 6th in Tahlequah. He was the grandson of James Daniel, who was the son of Moses Daniel, Conductor. His father, Robert Buffington Daniel, was on National Council and became assistant chief. (Robert B Daniels’ uncle was Moses, his father in law Richard Taylor, both conductors)
