Oklahoma University: 1961-1963

Just a few days after graduating from Anadarko High School in May 1961, Suzanne enrolled in summer term at OU and moved to Norman, Oklahoma. She attended summer, fall and winter terms during 1961, 1962 and 1963.

She pledged Alpha Chi Omega, applying the same rigor to her pledge interview as she did to her academic studies, underlining passages and taking copious handwritten notes in the margins of her Pledge Manual.

Suzanne also became active in Westminister Foundation, the Presbyterian student group on campus.

Beginning with a major in physical sciences, Suzanne soon also became very interested in psychology, social psychology, and philosophy– a triad that eventually became her major.
